Exactly, it seems to have just arrived in this report.
Its odd use of English language, not colloquial. That's why I assume it must be used in Aerobatic training?

I'd guess that "escape" is used as short-hand for "wings level, level out and control speed". The aerobatic pilot needs training in making the correct decision when to initiate an "escape". Professional display pilots have made the exact same mistake.
