Same storm front caused a tornado to hit me during school today, all around unfun experience.

Doesn't look like there's any major hail damage to ET-122, but they're checking it. Defiantly does not appear to be STS-117's drama again.

Oh man, I just realized thats the same day.

I really hope this doesn't turn out as another STS-117 for the US Media, because for some reason stuff like Paris Hilton going to jail is more important than 7 humans on the greatest adventure ever.

Having to get an astronaut, Buzz Aldrin to boot, on the show to tell you how bad your coverage of a shuttle mission is was pretty sad to see.

That's my daughter's birthday (mine is 4/30)! My wife is off work that weekend, so we could totally drive down to the area and see the launch! Hope that launch date sticks!

Florida Today - The Flame Trench: Shuttle Storm Damage Review Amid More Storms :

A NASA engineering review board is set to evaluate the impact of last week's storms on shuttle Endeavour as another band of severe weather approaches the Kennedy Space Center.

Severe thunderstorms are sweeping through the Titusville area, heading east over the Indian River toward NASA's shuttle homeport. The thunderstorms, lightning and hail will stall work at launch pad 39A, where Endeavour is being prepped for a planned April 29 launch.

Storms last week caused minor damage to the foam insulation on Endeavour's external tank, and engineers tested all electrical systems on the spacecraft to make certain lightning did no damage.

No ET has ever flown with a logo on its Intertank Door. And yes, ET-122 will fly with that logo.
