Pete, I can translate English to German, is that any use full?

@ Kyle.
Yes, we still need someone to translate from English to German.
Do you speak German like first language?

@Kyle: Yes that would be helpful. Thanks!

@Ryan: (Who sent me this PM)

As a tester, i have expirence with NASSP, S3/S4 solar panel testing and the A380. Also I can help with the VC.
Thanks.

COOL!

OK, I'll replace all existing logos with that.

OK, for ISSU, we are thinking of making it a self-installing .exe file.

But from looking around OF, it is clear that to some users, this is not a very popular idea.

So, what do you think? Should we have it just as a self-installing package, or should we provide a .zip file option also?

Hi, Pete

Who do you have lined up to do this work?
Witch installer are you thinking about using?
Will there be an uninstaller?

Please, also provide a standard .zip package, and for god's sake don't make it break mod managers. (I'm looking at you, Ariane 6 team) :P

What will we be using for the Soyuz/Progress/ATV? Will it be the ones off Mustard's site or will you be making your own?

At first I would like to say that this is a very impressive and great work!

Secondly, I would like to vote for an installer the way OrbiterSound has to be installed.

Thirdly, are you going to include an interior sound environment too?

This would make it an amazing experience I think. In case you do so, I would like to offer a few audio files of the life support systems I made a few weeks ago for an uncertain reason. Recorded within the real ISS of course. I used video footage from Expedition 17 crew member Garrett Reisman.

--MANAGEMENT UPDATE--

OK:

1. Russ, I will talk with you more about this privately on MSN, next time I catch you...

2. Pilot7893, we will be doing our own new Soyuz & Progress.
They will feature:
. A full interior.
. Animations to open hatches when docked, so you will be able to move into the Soyuz with the keyboard from the ISS interior.
. UMMU compatibility, for crew transfer to ISS.
. Support for transfer, so when progress docks, fuel, etc. is transferred to the ISS tanks.
This is, however, a long-term project - not a first release job.
Unussapiens already has a basic Soyuz interior mesh:

3. We will have some sort of installer similar to OrbiterSound, though I cant say exactly what yet, but that's what i'm looking to do...

4. Our interior will come with its own soundpack. I am looking to record actual air-con sounds from the Real ISS. I have a good video where it can be heard - I think I have the same one as you, Moonwalker, so yes, if you are offering any files, we would gladly accept them. Thanks!!!.
The air-con noise will also be different around the ISS, so it will change, depending on where you move in the ISS.

Thanks!

-Pete

Hi to all, guys!

@ Moonwalker
Thanks for your kinda words, we are working hard to realise this project :).

About the installer, we still have to talk and decide how this will work, so there is nothing definitive.

And about the internal sound enviroment: yes we want to make it, but we didn't started to make it. We want realistic sounds obviously for our ISS, and maybe we need a "sound department", that we stilll haven't! If you could send us your sounds we would be happy to try them :)! Maybe we could use them for ISSU! Please, PM me.

@ Pilot7893
We still don't know about what vessel will we use: maybe we could make our own vessels, but this requires a lot of work (and time). Probably, in a first time we will use other vessels, maybe, then, we could make our own. But it's still a "maybe".;)

Hey guys, i was thinking are we going to make the yet to be luanched modules like the Node 3, Kibo exposed facility, Cupola, Mini reasearch module-1, ELCs, MLM and the euro arm, (deep breath) ICM, AMS, ELC5. It will be kind of hard becuase we dont have any confirmed pictures of their interior or design.
Thanks.
Ryan.

Yes, we are going to make them, but they will be released as add-ons when the actual mission takes place.

OK then, let's ask the public:

What do you think? Release each new module as an add-on, or include all of them in 1 pack?

BUT REMEMBER: If we release all in 1 pack, then there will be no need to release any new addons for future shuttle missions, which will sort-of kill the excitement around every mission, as there will be no new payload to look forward to.

But tell us what you would prefer?
