OHM UMmu reentry pack

Ummucone is an UMmu personal reentry vehicle, in shape of a backpack attached to the space-suit, with inflatable heat shield in it. Based on Paracone add-on ( [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=435"]Paracone 1.1[/ame] ), using the same mesh by sputnik. Requires UMmu to work properly, DGIV is also recommended. Proper operation ways: *Attach the device and deploy it *Orient prograde and fire the provided thruster till depletion *Orient retrograde and wait until the sky is blue or G's are back to about 1. *Once at 10Km detach and go down on your own parachute *If unable to jump off at 10Km, land with the pack (30mph impact) and try to walk away from it ToDo: *Heat flux calculation *Damage and passenger death based on heat flux and impacts *Visual updates

How do you activate the shield?

Grapple the pack to the back ('B'), hit 'E' to deploy the shield and the retrorocket. Hit '-' to fire the rocket (one shot only).

EDIT: Sorry, after 'B', hit 'E' to enter, hit 'K' or 'G'—I forget which—to deploy the shield and rocket, then it's the same from there.

When I spawn this from scenario it suddenly CTD

Did you execute orbiter.exe and has the Orbiter launchpad appeared? Orbiter.log is always created when Orbiter is running, even if you don't launch any scenario, so you must have missed it.

Try a re-installing the addon; there may be problems fetching a certain texture, or maybe you didn't install part of the addon, or possibly there is a flaw with the addon itself, who knows, but it works just fine for me.

Maybe because DLL error? incompatiblity? who knows?

It isn't compatible with Orbiter 2010 P1.
