Vessel Valkyrie shuttle

Has anybody ever seen the Valkyrie shuttle from the movie Avatar. Regardless about how you feel about the movie the actual space craft is incredible, and it has a really cool VTOL system. It could serve a function similar to the XR5 Vanguard, but hopefully be a bit more flyable and better looking. it would also be good for carrying large quantities of UMMU people to a space freighter which is something that has been really hard to do.

here is the only place I have ever seen somebody think about creating one but as best as i can tell the project died, its also not for orbiter. Is there one that someone is working on or has created that i am missing, or anybody who would consider building it. Also I have no idea how one would work out the VTOL but leave that to better minds than mine. Any ideas?

LeftShift + 1 - rotate hover engine
LeftShift + 4 - air brake - not animated
F8 - virtual cockpit

Since spacecraft3 do not support vector thrust don't fire hover engine before animation,LeftShift+1

Thanks for the shuttle but it keeps crashing due to a "critical error", it tells me to check the orbiter log for more details. i am sure it is something that i am doing wrong because i am still very much a noob at this. do i need some other add-on to help it function.

Have you installed Spacecraft3? Every vessel in Orbiter exists because of a .dll file in the Vessels directory. Spacecraft3 is a universal .dll that allows for ships to be created with a model and a text file, no coding required. This addon is an example of a Spacecraft3 vessel, so if you don't have the Spacecraft3.dll, it's not going to show up in a scenario.
