Request Vertical speed hold MFD

Anybody consider making an MFD that can hold vertical speed in flight mode? This would mainly be used for the winged aircraft while ascending or during reentry. The MFD would also have to have reverse functionality during reentry.

I know its a huge task, creating MFDs, but I was hoping someone would take this on.

I believe he's looking for something that will use aerodynamic controls rather than hover engines.

Except it would only use the control surfaces and RCS jets to adjust pitch (possibly roll) to maintain a given vertical speed.
It would be useful only in atmospheric flight.
Doing MACH 15 with the hover doors open has bad results.
