Math We Should Stop Using Pi

As Interstellar Planet is getting at, the 1/2 constant makes area look like the result of integration...which it should! If you know calculus, it's more pleasant. Circumference looses the awkward factor of 2 and area gets a 1/2 that actually seems intuitive.
Opinions will vary. :P Numberphile also has many videos on both sides of the argument.

It would make dividing (dozenal) "10" (12 in decimal) by 3, 4, and 6 into whole numbers more convenient. And that's the only advantage of base 12, afaik. Not enough to justify replacing the system which we are already used to. But it is kind of interesting.

I'm perfectly happy with 10 / 4 = 2.5

12 would have two prime numbers as base, 10 would have two prime numbers as base... so what? If you go by what divides better by something else... base 30 would be more interesting. :D

Sure, go ahead! Do it!
Writing numbers as letters for easier calculation is a healthy practice for any one doing math

It doesn't mean you're NOT using π,
How do we know π isn't just half Tau? Or that Tau isn't just 2π? Because it's kind of irrelevant.

Why not write the square root of two as "¢"
