Vanguard XR5 - Altea livery.

PLEASE NOTE... The lowerskin that matches my top skins can be found in the updated texture pack linked below. My other topskins have been updated to also match. Thankyou. 
So...
Here is a top skin remake of the XR5, that gives you Altea Aerospace liveries. There are three. Plain, custom and dirty.
 
Installation...
Installation wont over-write your currently used livery skin so just extract into your orbiter directory.
 
Scenarios which use the skins are included in the XR5 Vanguard/skin demo scenarios folder in Orbiters Launchpad.

If you wish to use them as standard then open the zip and take the skins from the Textures/XR5Vanguard/Skins/XR5Altea* folder and place them into the Orbiter/Textures/XR5Vanguard folder, over-writing your current skins.

These textures are a huge improvement over the original. They really make the XR5 worth flying.

It's amazing how your skins improve the Vanguard. Do you have any plans to do the same for the XR-1 (and maybe DG-IV)? It just feels strange to reenter spaceplanes that have no black heatshield...

You know, I hate to say this, but I think the other DG's are to blocky. I enjoy smooth symetry. I learn't to fly the basics on the old DG's and not learning good, still practice the basics on the XR2 n 5. So I can't see myself skinning one now I've been spoilt by the XR's.

I'm seriously over-rated Dutch, but thankyou. Careful about the revisit... I'm a little addicted myself. :shifty: There should really be a warning about that.

I like this skin very very much. I'm using the ISA skin for XR2 as default at the moment.

In that case hribek, I'll bang out an ISA to match. Though the skin effects wont be the same, I think it would be an obvious release really and I'm chuffed you are useing a skin of mine as default m8. :thumbup:
