Swine Flu spreads to Canada

There have been 86 deaths reported in Mexico, but as of right now the few cases in the US (New York) and Canada appear to be mild.

I wonder if we are going to become zombies like in I Am Legend. :idea:

Well, traditionally pop (In my family generally ginger ale, sometimes sprite) is for stomach ailments. Chicken noodle soup is traditionally taken for illnesses that give one the sniffles, but tends to be rejected violently by ailed stomachs.

For flu-like illness, we use a combination (not at the same time) of paracetamol, lemonade (Australian for Sprite) and chicken noodle soup. Upset stomachs seem to be amenable to dry bread and water.

In Australia REAL men ride out the flu. I seem to be so susceptible to colds, I just have tissues now.

Like the avian flu, I would say it will take about 3 months until it gets boring - "so many people can't die by that, that must be a hoax. Boring..."

I hope we will react better and smarter than during the great spanish flu of 1918/1919, which killed around 50 million people worldwide (estimates go from 20 million to 100 million, but most more reknown sources cite 50 million).

The number of reported cases in the US has jumped to 40. That's a huge proportion, considering that our population is 300 mill-- oh wait...

Also I believe cases have been reported in Spain.

No zombies yet.
