I don't know what it was, but I saw something. I was just making a trip to the moon and about halfway I saw something that at first I think it was one of the planets. It looked just like one, a big white dot, bigger than a star. I pressed F9 to see which planet was, but it was none, so I kept looking at it and it started to look dimmer, until it dissappeared.
I have no idea what it was, but I know it was not a ufo! Possibly a glitch, I don't know, but it was funny.

Yes. When you used a staged spaceship it could be a stage.
Or it could be an othe vessel in your scenario.

If you have a quicksave or something, you can redo that part of your mission and change the planetarium settings to display vessels or other objects if necessary.

Relax, Buzz. It was just the Saturn IV B booster.

I was using a DGXR1, but I launched it in a staging rocket, with a lunar moldule wich I docked to in orbit. Yes, I know I left a lot of junk behind, but last stage burned to Earth into the Ocean, so I don't think it was my junk.

Or it could be Jupiter. :P I do not know what you saw, but I don't think I saw anything like that before and I have been playing Orbiter for a long time.

You saw something...

Or you saw Die Glocke.

Probably a speck of dust or dirt on the monitor. The same thing has happened to me a few times.

I've known the HUD in glass cockpit mode to produce a strange speck on occasion the same colour as the hud currently is that moves relative to the velocity vector. Made me think I was seeing a planet or distant object on occasion.

That's good. You never want to see your junk floating out there in space!

Yes, especially if your junk is visible for thousands of kilometers.
