GPS 2F-1 on Delta IV from Cape Canaveral

EDIT: There's a spacing issue with the title. How do I fix it?

Countdown clocks are now ticking, tanking will begin in about 10 minutes. If this shot doesn't go tonight, it won't go until later in the week because it takes about a day or two to reconfigure AMR for flight ops. (in this case, Atlantis's landing).

Do they have a priority chain, like, say, a shuttle over a govt's launch, etc., ending with SpaceX' stuff?

Manned spaceflight takes absolute precedence over anything at the Cape. I do know that much, although my bets are that ULA launches are over SpaceX. Thanks for the thread title tip, by the way.

Any live web cams up?

Hold called inside T-10 seconds due an unspecified problem. It is unclear right now whether another shot within tonight's launch window is possible, but based on my knowledge, I'd say, it's scrub for a minimum of 48 hrs to service the ROFIs.

---------- Post added at 05:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:16 AM ----------

Detanking is in work by the launch team, so it is a scrub for tonight. More info will be posted once it is available.

The next launch attempt will not be until after Atlantis lands and concludes its mission, so my guess that the next launch attempt won't be until the weekend/next week at the earliest.

From Spaceflightnow:
Computers detected a possible problem with the steering system on one of the twin solid rocket boosters.
...
A joint statement to the press from the Air Force and United Launch Alliance said "an anomalous data signature" from the steering system triggered the countdown's abort.
...
The earliest that launch could be rescheduled is Thursday night. That day's window would extend from 11:00 to 11:19 p.m. EDT.

Fuelling has begun for tonight’s 11:00 PM EDT/tomorrow's 3:00 AM GMT launch attempt.

EDIT: No, still not working. What the heck am I doing wrong!!!!?????
This time you placed [noparse][/noparse] tags in the post, so the link wouldn't be parsed even with [url][/url] tags (url tags are enclosed in noparse here, so they are displayed as they are written - you need to remove noparse tags to allow parsing either BB-code tags or smilies), and removed spaces from the URL. The best would be if you can see the source of the post, i.e. not like in WYSIWYG editor, but with all BB code tags displayed. You can try by switching editor mode in the editor (top right corner), so editor remains the same, or change the default editor in User Control Panel - Options.

EDIT: That's it :compbash:! Pete can handle that because this is too complicated for me. On the bright side, everything is going smoothly in the count and weather is still 80% "go". Here are some mission stats:

The 349th Delta rocket launch since 1960
The 13th Delta 4 rocket mission since 2002
The 11th Delta 4 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral
The 6th Medium+ 4,2 configuration to fly
The 6th Delta 4 under the ULA banner
The 2nd Delta 4 launch this year
The 61st GPS satellite to launch
The 50th GPS launch on a Delta rocket
The 1st GPS Block 2F satellite

I saw it launch on SpaceFlightNow. The chat was... interesting. I was looking at the chat half the time and people were like "What planet is it going to" and someone said "A piece of debris hit my dad". People are so strange.

SLC-37B, now minus Delta IV!

I bet you're wondering how I did that, aren't you?

Well, it's magic!

No, it's not really, the answer is simple - we're using different links, both showing the same thing.

You are trying to embed a live video stream as an image - which won't work. I am merely embedding a .jpg image of the stream that refreshes every 45 seconds! ;)
