Hello

i've got two old Joysticks. both can't be used s an only juoystick but they have only one smashed function. Now the Question is:
Is it possible with any addon to stear the rotation with one joystock and the translation with another joysticck.
And would it be possible two set the axes diferently?

Yes...use FlyByWire.

I can't save settings, because the computer says it could'nt be written in flybywire/current/profilestandard

Are you using Vista or Win7?

Do you have Orbiter installed under Program Files?

If you answered "yes" to both of the above, the easiest solution is to move Orbiter to another folder. I prefer something like C:\Games\Orbiter 2010.

Fix'd.

The other thing, if that doesn't work, is that you may need to do the whole right-click "Run as Administrator" thing.
What?

Microsoft has had guidelines for programs published forever. Orbiter doesn't follow those guidelines. In Vista, they started enforcing those guidelines.

Did it break a lot of things? Yeah. Is it annoying? Highly.

Was it unexpected or "silly"? No.

To be honest, I actually kind of like putting all of my games into C:\Games (or D:\Games as the case is for me, since I have a second faster hard drive that I use). It keeps them separated from "normal" programs and makes it easier to find things when I need to.
