Hello everybody,

I've been trying to send UCGO cargo form earth too moon in order to load up an Arrow freighter located at brighton beach.

To do this I use several addons : the energaia launcher, and the UCGO lander. I stacked 5 five loaded UCGO lander on top of a DM2 tug wich is itself loaded on a Smerch Tug. And all this then goes in a Buran-T ready for deaparture on a Energaia launcher.

What I want to do is : use the energaia launcher to send my load in parking orbit, use the Tugs for TLI and mid-course correction, put my cargo in lunar orbit passing over brighton beach, put the ship in a landing course ending on brighton beach, drop the UCGO lander before touch down and use them to make a smoth landing.

I intented to use IMFD for all these operation, but I encoutred several problems.

First of all, I can't use IMFD autoBurn, because the tugs have limited amounts of starting allowed and if I enable the autoBurn ti goes on and off and quickly depletes all my starts. Thus I tried to make a manual burn , I aligned the cross in BV mode and waited TtB to reach zero to engage main propulsion. But The cross goes quickly off-limits and even if I manage to get it back in center my BT is increasing. ( The tug's nozzle seems to move when I use rotation RCS it look like it's messing up the whole BV mode).

Any idea's on how to get to the moon ?

You have to start the burn in relation to your engines power.

mid course corrections aren't really all that complicated or even sensitive unless you are scraping for every last bit of fuel. orbit lagging behind moon? fire at 270 with reference to earth, to much in front? fire 90 degrees with reference to earth. other possibilities are outward velocity. in front means you are going "too fast" fire retro a little, behind means you are "too slow" fire prograde a little

of course nothing is more important than setting up a good transfer to start with, then very few, if any mid course corrections will be needed in Orbiter

In fact i already mess up the Ejection burn, because i have no reliable indication from the MFD

try using the transfer mfd that comes with orbiter, or transX!

You've got five UCGO cargos on top of a DM-2 tug which is on top of a smerch? How much delta-v do you have available for the Smerch tug?

You may want to try [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4530"]this[/ame]

You can turn off the limit of burns on the tugs in the scenario editor.
