This 7-meters-diameter launcher can boost a fully-loaded DeltaGlider-IV to ISS. It's technology is a mix between the Shuttle Launch System and DeltaIV EELV rockets.

Includes 3 test scenarios with 3 different launch configurations (6, 4 and 2 SRMs).

Requires :

  •  Velcro Rockets (by Sputnik)
  •  DeltaGlider IV (by Dansteph)
  •  UGCO (by Dansteph)

UPDATE v 1.03 :

Install : unzip in your Orbiter folder then click "Overwrite All"

  • Recompiled DLL files (release) against the 2010-P1 version. Previous release wasn't working anymore.

There's a (small) Canadian flag somewhere on the booster :lol:
 
I've recently found that you need to disengage Velcro's autopilot (press "O") before pressing "J" for jettison, in the case you want to abort the ascent. If you don't, Orbiter will probably crash.

Also notice that if you jettison before the SRMs burnout, the particle effects will not be affected. For now I don't really know how to fix that, and that doesn't seems a big priority for me. It's just a "known bug". :P
 
I don't know if it's just me, but there are no particle streams from the SRB's during launch and no, I really have the particle streams turned on in the launch pad :cheers:

If the SRBs are lighting, I don't see any exhaust effect at all.

Looks great though! Can't wait for the Rus one.

I dont see anything from the srb's. No flames, no contrails, nothing. Only the exhaust tex from the core shows.

Same issue here, can't even tell if the SRBs are ignited or not.
 
I get the SRB particle stream, but, oddly enought the main tank is "see through".

On a positive note though, it still rocks! Just looks a bit strange.

I meant to ask earlier, the SRB's, are they based (or are they) the Castor 4A?

Also, the position of the SRM defined in the scenarios is incorrect. Working on that, should not be too difficult to fix. [Fixed in v1.01]

@Phantomcruiser : Yeah I used the Velcro rockets model. :) But the specs are those of genuine GEM60s. I plan to remake the aft section (nozzle) in a future release. But I love the "arms" that attach it to the booster core. :lol:

Updated to V 1.01

Fixes :

- SRBs now in correct position
- SRBs are now designed by "SRB" (instead of "LRB")
- Core textures have been downscaled (no effect on visuals, should load faster)

I've downlaoded it twice and it gives me the same message:this archive is empty. :dry:
