Hi I want to see the STS-133 launch. I have found a nasa TV but it looks little and I dont know if there will be the launch.

http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html

Anyone know a web where it can be seen the launch in a bigger video?

And a final question.. the launch is at 3:52 p.m. EDT - Nov. 3, 2010 anyone can tell me what hour is at spain?

Thanks!!

NASA TV is NASA's own TV channel which broadcasts all agency related events, so it will cover the STS-133 launch: STS-133 NASA TV schedule

Check around for higher bitrate feeds, one that broadcasts the HD channel of NASA TV is Spacevidcast: www.spacevidcast.com.

Annd launch is scheduled for 2052 CET.

I've always used Yahoos 1.2 mbit/s stream of NASATV.
It is not as good as the Spacevidcast but at least Yahoo does not change the video (overlays, commentators in a studio etc.).

There are quite different delays on each stream, so you have to know where you priorities are.

You can find links to the Yahoo streams in the external links section of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASATV"]NASATVs wikipedia page[/ame]. I recommend loading them directly into VLC.

The Yahoo one has always been infused with the highest delay out there. So this does not look bad at all.
I just hope that nothing else is going on in the world when we need to watch it. ustream can be a bit dodgy under high load.

I usually watch the launch on TV on euronews, BBC World or CNN International.
Propably the smallest delay and the best quality (if you live in an area with 500 kbit/s and no one cares about improving that, like me )

If we're talking about watching the launch anyway, I'd have a little question... NASA TV (and many other video channels on the Internet) usually have green and pink lines, but not always. Could it be a problem with the decoding? I remember searching for it in the horrendous help of Windows XP, and after searching a lot I found a page which redirected me to a webpage, which redirected me to another webpage and from there I could download something. (it wasn't even something that could help me, I think it was Windows Media Player, which I already have and use) Anyone faced this problem?
