Vanguard XR5 - Wasp livery.

Here is a FUN skin for all you spheksophobia suffers out there... 
A scenario which uses the skin is included in the XR5 Vanguard/skin demo scenarios folder in Orbiters Launchpad.
(I did make the wings transparent and the effects where very good, but graphical errors occured because of other textures, even thought I modified them. So solid wings only, Sorry)
 
Installation...
Installation wont over-write your currently used livery skins so just extract into your orbiter directory.

If you wish to use them as standard then open the zip and take the skins from the
Textures/XR5Vanguard/Skins/XR5Wasp folder and place them into the Orbiter/Textures/XR5Vanguard folder, over-writing your current skins.

If the transparent wings where glitchless, it would have been better. It looked amazing to me, to be honest and I regret not being able to do it as I wanted. I almost binned it but thought maybe someone who's as fearful of wasps as I, would consider the skin therapy.

Thinking about it, I'll tidy up the skin set and release it with transparent skins and the other insect I was working on because I really want to do a Spiderman skin. Good, blue and red while the bad spiderman would be grey and light grey, also matching the lowerhull nicely too.
I'll have to look at how I can hide the glitches better. It's not the mesh, but the way textures work I think.

You mean the symbiote spiderman...

I thought I'd post a pic of the transparent wings. You can see the errors that I cannot remove. It spoils the effects somewhat so I won't be able to finish it. Shame really, but the Spiderman skin will have to have solid wings so I can still do those two. This addon will not be updated. :facepalm:
