I think it's better that you take care of the texture as you're more familiar with it.I need ~4 - 6 hours for the texture or I can ship you engine as in last screenshot with PSD file containing all groups needed for color, normal and specular maps (UVW and ambient map included).
Sounds good.Sure. Saturday is deadline then
They're separate right now but it's easy making them as one.Is it possible to separate them in the future? If so (and it isn't too much work), I vote for having all in one piece for now, and when we get to a point where we can choose vehicle configuration "with ease", then it will make sense to be separate.
A summary of what is required prior to release (feel free to add if you know something that is missing on the list):
[1]Animation of the articulated fluid ducts on the CISS
[2]Animation of the Deployment Adapter on the CISS
[3]Working MPS and RCS on the Centaur
[4]Both versions of the Centaur/CISS (G/G Prime)
[5]Accurate flight-plans for Ulysses/Galileo trajectories
[1][2] don't know animations![]()
its really easy, especially if you just stick to rotations and translations.
But I can't do it this weekend, lots of social stuff, if you have questions, I can answer them before friday afternoon.
I'll take a pass, for now. I'm too "fried" at the moment to learn new stuff. Maybe in the summer, if I have time...
The animations for the articulated fluid ducts are standard rotations. The data for these are in this post: http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?p=405637&postcount=147Maybe I can take a look at the animations on sunday evening.
Make it plain gray. The black as I wrote is most likely a set of "Remove Before Flight" covers designed to protect sensitive hardware during pre-launch processing. They're removed as part of the standard close-out activities. In second picture entire turbopump is black while in first it's "rusty" grey. What color should I make it then?
