Is it just me, or did the last XR2 update (v 1.4 : Release date: 7.2.2011) lost the virtual cockpit that was in the last version. When I press F5 nothing happens, perhaps this is an orulex thing [since I installed orulex since updating the XR2] anyone have any knowledge regarding this?

If you are in the cockpit with the last version of the XR [BEFORE 7.2.2011] if you press F5 it will still remain in 2d cockpit, but the 3d cockpit is also there behind the 2d panels

F5 has never had any effect in the XRs, and rendering the 3D cockpit behind the 2D cockpit would make no sense in any case. If you were seeing that then it was caused by some wonky third-party add-on trashing Orbiter's memory space, not some bizarre XR feature that suddenly vanished in the new version.

When I press F5 a 3d cockpit appears behind the 2d cockpit. If you have further doubt I'll take a screen shot and record live screen feeds.

He can't be so incorrect since he is the man that fixed an unknown bug (or feature?) in such a casual way, that he didn't even notice. That makes him win in my book.

Could you post a screenshot anyway? I think running like that might be an awesome way to visually enhance the piloting experience when big MFDs are needed.

I don't understand how that could happen -- I certainly didn't code it. As a further test I installed the XR2 1.3 into a clean Orbiter installation and I cannot duplicate what you are seeing. How can you take screenshots of the 'feature' if you can't duplicate it with the latest XR2 version and don't have version 1.3 anymore? And if you can duplicate it to take screenshots, why do you need the old XR2 version at all as you have been requesting in email?

In any case, if you can duplicate the wonky F5 behavior somehow please re-run your test in a clean Orbiter installation to eliminate the possibility of a buggy third-party add-on causing the problem.

Ive tried reproducing this myself, and cannot. Everything works like its supposed to for me
