The original XR2 paint kit by Coolhand didn't come with panels and weathering effects. Until now.

I edited out the "XR2 Ravenstar" and "Altea Aerospace" logos using the copy/paste, clone, and heal tools.

Note: Doesn't come with wireframe. If you need a wireframe, I'll update it. Also, I exported the .psd with GIMP, so I don't know if it works in Photoshop or whatever image editing software you use. It probably will work.

It's great to have the panels, but the weathering seems to be a bit strong, it darkens what's underneath far too much in my opinion. Any chance of a cleaner version?

Just use a lighter color. Making it brighter might mess it up (like the panel lines might become light grey instead of dark grey/black).

That is with pure white. Is there some way you can make a cleaner version?

Do I detect we will be seeing weathered versions of some of your skins (I hope)?

I have a 15 layered original psp8 file that I use to make all my XR2 skins. Don't ask why it has 15 layers but it needs a tidy up and then merging many layers to give simplisity to the user, mainly the frameing and add 'No Step" and "Caution" stuff. I never bothered, but I think it's a repaint requirement. As this kit has been released and people are creating very good skins in the XR series, it won't hurt to have another repaint kit for variety.

That would be great. Also, I have a template of my own that includes all the "No Step" and "Beware of Blast" labels in vector text, and has a clean white version of both the original XR2 and my slightly different XR2J. It needs some modifications to make it user friendly, but I think it would solve Pyromaniac's problem and give us three times the variety in choosing the base for repaints. ;)
