General Question what are the keybord controls

hello can anyone tell me the keybord commonds like how to switch the lights on the ship and so on

The default controls are described in the documentation, usually in the "Doc" subfolder of Orbiter, and if not then in "Add-on docs" subfolder. The generic controls are in Orbiter.pdf, and vessel specific, like for the light switch, in the vessel's documentation.

Unless I am missing something (likely!) the keyboard commands in the Orbiter manual are spread across the multiple chapters. I like the 'keymap.cfg' file, but I don't immediately know all the abbreviations.

Has no one made their own cheat sheet for shortcuts?

They are only default if you haven't changed the keymap yet, and those are only generic keys. If you have changed it, the default generic keys are in the manual, as also there are specific keys (for MFDs, vessel specific, etc).
