Blane, that looks fantastic! :D

I have no imagination when it comes to these things xD

When imagination fails, that is the time for inspiration. Take a look around the Internet for pictures of buildings - even pictures of other Minecraft creations. No harm in getting stylistic advice secondhand that way. :)

[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallingwater"]Fallingwater[/ame] is a good place to look at for Minecraft architectural ideas.

Actually, I think the house will be a sort of old Southern style country home.

If only I could count on my Internet to stay stable today...

I'll be building a nicely-sized labyrinth in the coming days. I've located it on the southern island (south of Fireballs) and just finished leveling the ground for it today. Here's the work so far.

It's not much yet but it's a start! The plan is to encase it in a dome so that a) it's (external) mob proof and b) so that you can't cheat with the dyn map. :)

More pictures of the End expedition (yes, it took that long):

Also, I've started a museum just west of the eastern wall. The complex is subject to change:

Hi, I am also playing Minecraft. Do you know something to construct buildings taller than the cloud level? And what version of Minecraft do you have? I dont have this water.

@Chub LOL I finished the Leeroy Jenkins just as the Ender Dragon was dying? Awesome.

FWIW If anyone for any reason needs or wants obsidian, I set up a generator for grins and giggles next to my underground tree farm that yields 12 blocks each run. Only thing I'm missing is a diamond pick to extract it from the generator. Hope to find some diamond tonight.

Whoever keeps reactivating the portal partway to my place, please stop. It generates a floating portal over the ocean that is an eyesore and doesn't go anywhere useful. I've deactivated and blocked it several times, but someone keeps using it. I'll be dismantling it today.

Edit: In other news, working on lighting the island south of mine and building the foundations of the tower.

That was me this time, sorry

Could you add two friends of mine, Scap911 and NL95ReBeL95NL?
Done

Sorry, was working in my chrome. I re-uploaded it to imgur and fixed the post.

Here's an update on the labyrinth I'm working on. The size has been set at about 42x35 or so, and in the interior has been fully leveled and made ready to go. In addition, the outer structure is complete. It has a Mayan ziggurat-eqsue look, as I was going for something that seemed very old and deadly (think Indiana Jones). Here's a picture.

The interior is ready for maze planning, as I previously said. Here's what it looks like, sans walls and the such that will make up the maze.

And finally, for VIPs only, I've installed an observation deck on the ceiling of the structure. It's high up enough such that the maze wanderers would have to actively look up to see it (so it doesn't disturb the maze scenery), and lets observers watch the action comfortably. The door to this structure is not accessible from inside the maze and will most certainly be locked. :) Anyway, here's part of what you can see from all the way up there.

And that's it for today. Thoughts? :)

Looks good. I think I'll take some of the caverns and open up a jazz club in the commune (which will double as my vacation home.)

I added the first layer of the maze tonight and rigged up a bunch of redstone traps. All I've got to set up are a few more traps, add the final layer of maze wall, and add the secret maze exit. Tack on a few decorations to make things look pretty, and we can have our maze run! :)

If I can find a way to take a picture of the maze in such a way that nothing is given away, I'll certainly do so. :)
