IRON FARM GUIDELINES
My presence in the server will be lower due to studying reasons next 2 months.
So I would like to give some guidelines to operate properly the Iron Farm:
The Iron Farm consists about two main structures: The Collector ( Yellow circle ) and The Towers ( Red Circles ).
The Iron Farm is also the source for the iron that fills the minecart dispenser at the nether main hub.
(Important Note: It's absolutely prohibited to place a wood door in all the desert, you will see all the doors in the buildings are iron doors)
-The Collector have the system to store and kill Iron Golems and to give to the user the iron ingots and roses.
-The Towers consists into a set of artificial villages that are designed to naturally allow 16 villagers which is enough to spawn Iron Golems. There are 5 spawning cells or artificial villages in the Iron Farm.
The villagers are contained in a boxes with water so they are safe from mobs or falling from the cell. Each cell have more than a box except the one at TOWER 3, this way if something happens and the villagers of a box are killed the other box will spawn more villagers in order to have 16 villagers again to continue the Iron Golems spawning.
-Tower 3: Tower 3 is a bit special, it holds 100 villagers with the objective to rise the output of the farm, on the other hand it only have one box.
(Check the attached photo to see better where the structures are on the farm.)
There is also a rail network ( Green lines ); This network had been used to bring villagers to the spawning cells. At the present the only rail that works 100% is the one that connects the villager farm with the TOWER 3 (Update: ( 29/11/2012) this railway doesnt exists anymore, it have been replaced with a more flexible and safe system). The other line still works and arrive to the top cell of TOWER 2.
-Operating: The user that wants to operate the Iron Farm must go to the Collector and activate the crusher with the pressure plate in order to obtain iron ingots and roses.
IMPORTANT: If the user feels that the output is too low he will have to check some things: first take a walk to the basis of each tower to make sure the chunks are loaded ( I usually do this when I join ) If the user still feels the output is too low there can be other problems like some iron golems being stuck in the tubes. Normally this happens on the point where the tubes from TOWER 1 and TOWER 2 join, I think I've solved it but its not 100% sure. If the user still feels the output is too low => Check MAINTENACE.
-MAINTENANCE: The maintenance of the farm is as easy as to check all the villager boxes to be sure any villager is dead and to check if an Iron Golem is in a box (Iron Golems in a box is a rare problem that only have happened twice) there are also other places where there can be Iron Golems like in the top of the cell, etc. If a cell have an Iron Golem there the cell is not working, the Iron Golem must be killed to make sure the cell is working normally again. If the user still feels the output is too low, sorry more towers will come later.
The problems due to serious damage should be obvious to the naked eye, as a broken tube or a destroyed cell.
Other maintenace works doesnt solve output problems directly and wont be wrote here.
I will keep this post updated with news about structures and systems about the Iron Farm.

This project wouldn't be possible without orb_ and Woo482 who provided materials and help with bringing the villagers to the place.
