Stanford Engineering is offering basic introductions for free.
ai-class.com is an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
ml-class.com is an Introduction to Machine Learning
db-class.com is an Introduction to Databases

There are already tens of thousands of people registered for each, and you can view ML and DB lectures already and do some problems. The actual "class" will be starting next week.

I'll be taking some or all of these for my computer science independent study class.

Any idea if these videos will be uploaded to watch later on? I probably won't have the time to sink into exams and homework for this class, I have enough work just to get though my own university, but I would really like to follow the advanced class over the summer or over Christmas break...

Though I am interested in two of these. They might come in handy for work on OBSP...

If you enroll, you can download the videos and watch them whenever you feel like.

And you can take the "basic" track and not even have assignments.

The classes have officially started now.
"Anyone can view homework and exams, and only those on the Advanced path need to turn them in." (paraphrasing a mass email)

Just got the mail as well. I've signed up for machine learning and AI advanced tracks. I've already had a few DB courses in my uni, so that seemed redundant, and I've enough to study as it is.
