Hi ,

Does anyone have a working ProjectApollo_AGS where both the AGS and all SM jets work. Thankyou in advance:)

Hi there,

If you mean ProjectApollo (aka NASSP) with a virtualAGC running?
Then, yes!

I'm not sure if I'm up to date with my local copy of that. There might be some more current version at sourcefore...
I've just started it and it runs. Here's my specs:
* Windows 7 (64bit)
* Orbiter Build Aug 24 2011 [v.110824]
* D3D9Client (Beta 4 Build 03 Sep. 2011 [110903]), but it runs with the internal client as well)
* NASSP (CVS checkout from 2011-08-04 23:25:50) plus a single fix "Whenever VerbPressed is processed, AGC should accept decimal values."

My (local) Version has some code-changes I've made to run an "external DSKY", that is a Arduino controlled physical replica of the DSKY (although currently only the DS.., the ..KY is still an old PS/2 PC-Keyboard ;) Couldn't get some nice keys/buttons for it yet.)

Anything you like me to check? Or anything?

I know of a shop, that makes 'custom' keyboard buttons...I just need to find the name...

hi

Maybe I am not clear enough sorry . I would just like if you have it a sen with ags and sm jets working. I have one computer working but not all SM jets. And I have one with all SM jets and no computer.

Hello spacman,

I've just tried this Scenario:
"Scenarios\Project Apollo - NASSP\Broken Scenarios\Virtual AGC\Training\Earth Orbit Entry_01.scn"
It has the Master Alarm ringing, but that's O.K. (for our test ;) )

To get the AGC out of Standby, just press RSET (red arrow in picture), then you should be able to access the AGC via the DSKY.

To get your RCS working, you have to "activate" the System (blue arrows):
* Open all Helium Valves (Helium 1, A-D and Helium 2, A-D) so the talkbacks are not barberpoled anymore.
* Open the Primary Propellant valves (PRIM PRPLNT, A-D) 'till they are also grey (not barberpoled). The Secondary Propellant valves seems to follow --although I don't exactly know why ;)

Now you should be able to use your RCS (slowly, but that's another switch)

Hope it helped and I did not tell you something you allready knew ;)

Hey mojoey,
that would be great!

By the way, you don't know anyone that can sell me 3 'sign' segments (just the +-)? I have currently work-around them with standard 7-Segments (see first digits in register rows).
Sorry spacman for highjacking this thread, maybe you can PM me about any news.

/Kuddel

T- 1 hour, 58 minutes and 9 seconds ... ;)

Check DegiKey, you might have to buy 100, but it'll still be cheep.

Thanks, but that was one of my first vendors to search ;) Unfortunately LED "+-" Segments are soooooo old fashioned, that almost nobody has them on stock these days... But for the Keys (Buttons) I'll might check again their page.
Thanks anyway,
Kuddel

Hello spacman,
I've just had some time to dig deeper into the issue.
It seems that I am also not able to use the Numpad as THC :(
Joystick(s) seem to work, but changing the mode to "translation" via Numpad "/" seems to disable it complete. The just-keyboard-no-joystick setup seems to have an issue.
When I patched the source-code I was able to use the Numpad both for RHC ("rotation") and THC ("translation"), but that patch was brute force and allowed for "Killrot" as well...
I've also tried several settings in the LaunchPad Vessel Configuration Dialog, but to no success.
Maybe this is an error in ProjectApollo. Let's contact tschachim about this!
If I have any news about this, I'll contact you.

In the mean-time you might have to get a grip to a Joysick for THC.

Hi,

Thanks again for your help. I will try your suggestion. Look forward to hearing more . This is a great add :thumbup:on.

Hi again spacman,

I think the problem is like many problems are: We did not read _all_ the documentation :embarrassed:
We can read in this article here, that we have to rotate the 'virtual' THC clockwise, too...
THC_switch_location.jpg

Does this solve the problem on your side?

Rcs

Hi,

Again thank you for efforts. I tryed that but no joy. could you post your sen. I may of missed a switch or two.

...please hold the line ;) I'll have to check everything myself, 'cause I'm not really sure what did the trick on my side.
I'll come back to you as soon as I have definite results.

Hi again spacman,

I've fixed a little scenario that sould enable you to use the 'standard' translational mode (Numpad).

For Transposition and Docking you still have to flip some switches / circuit-brakers[1], but it works. I've tested this (several times ;) )
The scenario includes 'advanced docking' so it's a bit more switching, again ;) (see below)

/Kuddel

[1]
Panel 1 :The DOCKING PROBE EXTD/REL switch to 'off' (center)
Panel 8 : SEQ EVENTS CONT SYS circuit-brakers closed (LOGIC A/B & ARM A/B), and the according switches -above- all 'up'.
Panel 1 : After that you should be able to separate from the S-IVB via the CSM/LV SEP switch

You're welcome spacman,
