OHM Tiangong 1

1 - I try to put this on PMA because of APAS

2 - and I try to put Tiangong into ISS AtoZ scenario, but there no other docks on Tiangong, but only this one which looks very very bad.

...so I just want to find here somebody, who try docking Shezhou and Tiangong to ISS...if is it ever possible? I have big problems with this issue

Thge Shenzhou attaches fine (if it's compatible), but the Tiangong1 is a passive APAS and can't attach to a PMA.

yes you right of course, and I appreciate it. THANK YOU very much, it works perfectly

---------- Post added at 09:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:03 PM ----------

and have you any idea how to dock Tiangong to PMA? I know that both docking mechanism are passive, but we can use our imagination and fantasy ;)

and I try to dock Shenzhou to PMA3 and it seems imposible (but PMA2 works perfectly of course)

according SZ9 I realised docking with TG1

the problem name is PMA3, so one solution is to double PMA2, maybe

Copy-paste the docking ports from PMA2.ini to PMA3.ini

thnka you for advice, I try it but I dont know how to use it correctly, still have problems :(

please can you give us detailed advice ;) THANK YOU

and is it possible to make more PMA modules, just rewriting them as PMA4 etc?

You need to learn, how to use spacecraft3.ini files.

Copy-paste the docking ports from PMA2.ini to PMA3.ini

I try to find some more information about how to do this, but there isnt any source :(

so if you can show me how this file (for PMA3) have to be repair...I´ve been so thankfull, because of time which I spent for learn without some manual or tutorial :( unsuccessfully

copy and paste this over your PMA3.ini

Code:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your patience, but if I understand this changes, its still means that I can dock whatever I want on PMA3, but still in front of Harmony according this:

DOCKINFO 0:1,Harmony

But is there option to use both PMAs?

Yes

DOCKINFO 0:0 PMA2/3

Yes

DOCKINFO 0:0 PMA2/3

I try this and more other combination, but it still isnt correct

If we want to dock smth on PMA2 in front of Harmony (ATTACHED 0:5,Harmony), why we use this:
DOCKINFO 0:1,Harmony

and why not this:
DOCKINFO 0:0,PMA2

This is the breakdown of DOCKINFO:

So to break down DOCKINFO 0:1,Harmony on PMA2. The first number, 0, means the first docking port on PMA2 which is 0. The second number, 1, means the second docking port on Harmony. The Harmony after the comma tells Orbiter which vessel the 1 refers to.

Harmony has the opposite: DOCKINFO 1:0,PMA2.

All of this is explained in the Orbiter File Formats manual (OrbiterConfig.pdf). You should really read it along with the Spacecraft3 manual (Spacecraft.pdf).

I know everything what you write here, but it isnt the true in all cases, especially in ISS

Look how PMA2 is attached on Harmony:
END
PMA2dummy:spacecraft\spacecraft3
STATUS Orbiting Earth
RPOS 4016176.11 -1971054.66 5005030.79

AROT 41.99 30.57 -44.19

ATTACHED 0:5,Harmony
AFCMODE 7
NAVFREQ 0 0
RCS 1
CTRL_SURFACE 1
CONFIGURATION 1
CURRENT_PAYLOAD 0
END

And look how is docked another spacecraft to PMA2:
END
Shenzhou9/Tiangong1:spacecraft\spacecraft3
STATUS Orbiting Earth
RPOS -6060609.60 -2814097.43 150631.36
RVEL -2980.794 6264.092 -3415.880
AROT 117.53 20.97 -81.20
VROT 0.07 0.00 0.00
DOCKINFO 0:1,Harmony
AFCMODE 7
PRPLEVEL 0:0.790411
NAVFREQ 0 0

SEQ 1 2 0.999508
SEQ 2 2 0.149679
SEQ 3 -2 0.000000
END

This is the way how ISS is functioning

because while building the ISS the docking ports of one vessel would interfer with another, so I would have to make attachments instead.

but what about russain vessels, which are docked 4 at one time on ISS, without some conflict

is anybody try to dock 2 vessels on PMA2 and PMA3?

You can be the first.

sorry guys for this dicusion but I try to do it, unsuccessfully
