Dear gents and orbiters,
I got a huuuuge problem. I use a computer wich got 2 screens (now) and I re-installed the Orbiter game usually. So now I launched Obiter and a chaos on every Video Settings begun. I can do anything, if I got it, the mouse gets out and the hwole game crashes to Desktop. [By the way, I have the problem that not really many games are playable on 2 Screens] Is there a program or a setting to use Orbitr and other stuff (pls first Orbiter) on 2 Screens?
Would be great to see help, thank you very much!
:tiphat:

Keep your total resolution width under 2048, I think there's some limit within orbiter...I'm pretty much a noob and this sorted my dual screen issues.

But only for in-line graphics and D3D7Client. The other currently available graphics clients don't have this limit.

Well if this doesn`t work do you think there could be another way? Or better, what could be the problem?
Thx again:salute:

I have two screens and no problem. Go into video settings and it'll let you pick one video device (aka monitor) or another. Figure out which monitor you want it on and run it in fullscreen. If you click in the other monitor, duh, it'll go back to the desktop. Use a program like Ultramon to lock your mouse into one monitor.

Well, can you send me a link with that or similar programes? This seems to be the answer...

I`ve tried this one: http://ddmm.sourceforge.net/
This is a nice tool but the problem is here again!

So read carefully!

I launch orbiter and select a mission, all nominal until here :D

But ...

I selected a mission and orbiter appears on one screen... okay...

and if I click right to turn around my spaceship the mouse appears on the other screen in the central and moves with me and jumps into the middle of the same screen again. And if I click now to "release" the "turn around mode" I land automaticly on the other screen and everything crashes to desktop :(

you're using inline client or dx9 / dx11 one?

dx9 has nice feature to run in fullscreen window not real fullscreen - should help IMO

No no no. What he means is are you using the Graphics clients, not what Dx version your card is.

Short way to figure out, are you running Orbiter.exe or Orbiter_NG.exe?

If youare using Orbiter_NG.exe, you are using a graphics client. If you are using Orbiter.exe, then you are not, and you are using the inline D3D7 one.

And really no one should be using the inline client anymore.

Here is D3D9 client: http://d3d9client.codeplex.com/
