I have, with the company ACME and Matías Saibene Mathematical Institute, a formula by which American astronauts will reach the ISS without problems.

So, the trampoline is out of the question, then?

Time to go scrape the rust off the HARP cannon.

How come thew features on this seem better than the all current phones on the market.

No, the trampoline is a Russian solution. My cannon is an American solution (precisely South America).

But seriously speaking, what a shame that this has dissolved partnership between NASA and Roskosmos. Hopefully they can resolve their political problems and resume flights to the ISS.

I was thinking that Martin (precisely Orbiter founder) will have to update the home page of Orbiter and include this:

"...you can even design and test-fly the spacecraft of the future, without budget constraints and political pressure. Show NASA and Roskosmos how it's done!"

Was watching Cosmos.
Switching channels to watch coverage of today's wildfires around OKC. They've started up in at least three locations and the one in my county rekindled twice. Over 800 acres have confirmed to have already burned. (1.25 sq mi, 3.24 sq km)
Approximately twenty fire departments are involved.

As much as 4000 acres estimated to have burned now. (6 sq mi; 16 sq km; maybe/hopefully a miscommunication)
One person died after refusing to evacuate. One thousand have been evacuated.
The fire is said to be largely under control now, but conditions are going to be in the extreme range for fire potential again today. (Hot, dry, windy)
The fire is believed to have started from a "controlled burn". Local farmers do frequent controlled burns and have thus opposed burn bans enough that no ban has been enacted in this area lately despite the extreme chance of fires like this.
There are news articles from just a few days ago warning of the conditions and the lack of resources needed to combat a large fire. The fire departments spent hours unable to do anything.
Oklahoma law makes it so that the person who caused this fire will be held responsible for all damage. That's going to be a pretty :censored: huge debt.

I am all for letting such fools pay for it.

Here we have official bans for lighting fires when the weather is too hot and dry. We had a devastating forest fire here in 1975 (about 18,000 acres in ten days) and it was a very hard lesson for our firefighters, making them find out that they lacked the equipment to do anything meaningful. Things became much better when the army helped with their tanks.

Afterwards, we had become so paranoid, that even small fires are fought seriously, so that no bigger fire ever happened. The tiny 5000 m² last year in Wolfsburg had been one of the bigger forest fires since then. And we dug many large water tanks underground, to have water far away from rivers and lakes.

I have this funny feeling after having amnesia for a couple of days...damn, at least I feel better now...

Looking at a high of 101F today. (38C) Will be a record by a large margin.
And just a few weeks ago it was snowing. To be fair, it was nearly this hot the day after it snowed. :P

Wow. Sounds pretty much like forced suicide.

Just remember, descend into the darkness where Alexander waits, and kill him.

Near my town, there had been a fire in 2013 in the town of Sierra de la Ventana, a paradise near the mountains. 27000 acres were burned, and much of the natural reserve Ernesto Tornquist was lost (it's a protected area of the provincial government).

The causes, according to official sources were:

1.- A fire not extinguished, allegedly started by campers.

2.- Fall of lightning.

Actually I do not believe in these explanations and suspect an attack.

It wasn't a console per se... it was one game, on an LCD screen. These things used two watch batteries, and theendurance was quite ok. Of course the content of the game was rather limited, and if you wanted more than one, you had to carry a whole bag of these things around...

I only had one with double screen, most of mine were single screen: I think I had about five games total, though only two from nintendo (among which was the single screen version of donkey kong, which was quite a good jump and run considering the limitations).
