Request Arrow Freighter walk around in first person

The title said almost everything, but is there a add-on (or someone working on it) that you will be able to walk around in the Arrow Freighter?

I think its really cool, move around in the big ship, check to other pilots, take a look at dockingport one (payload area).

Could someone make this, it will be really cool, and it will be appreciated by me and others! :thumbup:

Making such a thing would take some serious mesh work. In the new arrow you can go to the captains cabin

There is [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1277"]CamControl v0.3[/ame] but it may not work correctly because the Arrow's VC limits the VC movement. Haven't checked it in 2010.

Because if you are talking about moving about INSIDE the ship.....there is no inside of the ship. Its empty. So to move about inside, you would see nothing. Well you would see something, but it would not look very good.

Only certain parts of the vehicle has the all the eye candy, and those are the parts of the ship you can access already. The flight deck, with its beautiful windows and command station. The beautiful captain's quarters.


If you want to do a true walk-around, an EXTERIOR visual inspection of the vehicle, UMMU is plenty capable of doing that.

Sorry for the necro post. I would add one request for further develpment of the Arrow. I would love to see a window from inside the ship into the docking bay, just above the docking port. Beyond that I can't think of anything that would be able to actually ADD to what is already an excellent vehicle.

I think you are in luck - Dan is apparently still tweaking the new Arrow since the Christmas beta release (although work has apparently slowed down right now), so you might suggest this feature at his own forum.

Actually, since I posted my last comment I remembered the "Pisces" from RTF which had an incredible amount of interior spaces that you could go into; casinos, hallways, observation decks, a swimming pool, and the officers conference room behind the bridge. So a great deal could actually be added to the ship. That said, I don't know how much more could be added to the arrow that would actually add to the atmosphere of the ship. Maybe an interior of the galley, perhaps the hydroponics area, but, meh...
