Problem Weird characters on DGIV-3 displays in Korean localized Windows

Hi Im just start orbiter and S-Korean :)
not good at english.. so plz excuse my bad english.

now the problem.

i just install Dan's DeltaGliderIV-3.

and i saw this on hud.

thats korean char look like 캅 which sound as cop.

as far as i know orbiter has no korean things
it must be bug.

im using korean Langage Windows.
must something do with this...

expt that weird char no problem i got now.

anyone can help me with this?

Looks like a codepage error for the character "°". Now its DGIV Gangnam style.

Can be fixed by using Multibyte or Unicode strings in the DGIV module, but only DanSteph can fix this. Do other add-ons or the stock MFD displays have similar problems for you?

I think the XR series multi-display area and secondary HUD also has problems on my computer too (in addition to this one; my computer uses traditional Chinese).

I am sure, my own add-ons could also have problems there.

SSU should be generally on the safe side, but we also put too little emphasis on localization currently. While project language is NASA english (which is a language of its own), there are many places where a benefit by having translations would be possible.

Orbiter (and graphics clients too) use ANSI and not Unicode versions of functions, and because of that, there can be problems with displaying characters from above the ASCII range in non-English code pages.
