Hey everybody,

Is there a simple way to calculate the TiG in the OMS MNVR EXEC displays.
I usually divide the ApT value by 60 and then add it to the MET but it overshoots. So any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You have to start the burn before ApT, for that divide the total DV in fps of the burn by 6, if you use both engines. The result is the time in seconds, that the engines will burn (You can calculate it this way because the propellant mass of the shuttle is not very large and the burns pretty short). Now, subtract half of the time from the ApT and convert to MET.

I plan adding a minimal mission control center simulation to SSU (after the next release) for calculating the burn data, but I am still designing the solution.
