Important Orbiter-Forum.com switching to a new cloud provider

That was both an issue with pathing and imagemagick. Should work properly now.

I can confirm, it's fixed (...once I got my browsers cache cleared).

Thanks,:tiphat:

We're doomed.

Where is Ghostrider saying we are doomed?

The server has a ticking time bomb in it. It works great for a while, then the processor and hard drive melt at the same time. :chainsaw:

Hard drives... ... we had been happy to see tape drives back then. Single CPUs filling halls and if you tell that to the young people today, they won't believe you!

Aye, but we were appy!

Forum server switchover date set

PLEASE NOTE: orbiter-forum.com will be down for several hours on Saturday, November 9th starting around 9 PM UTC while the forum is switched over to the new server at Digital Ocean. DNS records will also be updated at that time. The forum database will be transferred over after the forum is taken offline so no posts will be lost.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Additionally, once we know what the new server's IP will be, we'll post it here so you can make a note of it. This way, if your DNS doesn't update for a long time, you should still be able to get your OF fix.

Alright, I think that's the last of the furniture. I'm going to go decorate for a few hours (sleep happens to other people apparently). Let me know if anything smashes.

Well, congratulations, it has been perfectly transparent to me.

Don't know if it's related or not, but add-on upload on Orbiter Hangar is messed up. All else is working good.

Probably. Can you go any further than "messed up"? What's the problem?

I mean this:

[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6362"]http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=6362[/ame]

After uploading that add-on I got a page with "Access denied for user 'web'@'localhost' (using password: YES)" (http://www.orbithangar.com/acc_forumPostCreate.php?ID=6362).
Reloading OH shows the add-on, but with no files.

Small issue here - while trying to update the Orbiter beta repository, I've got the following message:
OPTIONS of 'https://orbithangar.com/svn/orbiter': Server certificate verification failed: certificate issued for a different hostname, issuer is not trusted (https://orbithangar.com)

That routes through to a 404, as the beta SVN hasn't yet been set up properly.

Any clue as to when the Beta SVN might be up and running?
