Flight Question Houston, am I seeing Voyager correctly?

Hello fellow orbinauts. Today I was looking at this Voyager page that tells where both voyager probes are relative to the Earth and Sun, and I discovered that Voyager 1 was moving closer to Earth every second, but farther away from the sun. Is earth ascending towards V1 in it's orbit path, or am I just seeing things :uhh:?

Since Earth moves at 29 km/s around the sun, while the spacecraft move with only 17 km/s and 15 km/s relative to the sun........

Holy cow. Never mind, and scratch that. Just making sure the Earth wasn't going out of orbit, that's all :lol:.
