Great news for Sci-Fi fans?

A 'classic' BBC sci-fi series, late 70's. In best Dr Who tradition, alien planets are mostly quarries, wobbly sets, dodgy special effects. Acting and plots were quite good though:-

It was live-action, and I don't think it was done ironically, or tongue-in-cheeck. It is over 25 years old, so, I don't suppose it's possible to view it now without that time showing.;)

Its actually 30 years ago when it first aired. Its a bit like doctor Who, but without time-travel and a much darker storyline. And the Liberator was/is a kick-ass ship.

Lately I've been watching the newer Dr. Who episodes on the Sci Fi Channel (a nationwide cabel channel in the U.S.), and I love it. When I was little I could bear to watch Brit sci fi because the hair and costumes were so goofy looking. I wonder if the new Blake's 7 will be picked up by SFC as well. They've got a srong Friday night lineup right now, with Sara Jane, Dr. Who, and Battlestar Galactica all in a row. Pretty much everything else on the channel is awful, and BSG will end soon, so they need to find some new stuff.
