Hi:

I hope you liked my Boeing 702-2000 satellites, so, i asked you about the next commecial payloads group... The options are above, so... i'll wait your answers... some information about the satellites in http://www.skyrocket.de/space or in http://www.astronautix.com

EDIT: I've done a mistake: i forgot to add 3 options:

-Lockheed Martin AS 2100
-Space Systems/Loral 1300
-Some OLDER Commercial Satellites :P

But i think it doesn't matter, 'cos you want i do every satellite orbiting (i think) :speakcool:

(Stupid Question: How can i edit a poll with no affection to the emitted votes?)

I've got a couple requests that aren't on the list, if you're looking for something a little different. I'd like to see the old HS-389 and HS-393 satellites from Hughes.

i voted for Russian Satellites and non-commercial....but hey...it's a good idea to make the ICBM TOPOL of russia, with the 8x8 or 6x6 truck launch pad.

Hi Istochnikov,

Your Boeing 702 satellite is looking great.
What about a modern GPS satellite like the Lockheed Martin Block IIR-M?

Images here:

At one point I would like to create a GPS constellation, and simulate a 'real' more advanced GPS receiver in Orbiter, using simulated pseudorange measurements/etc. That would be fun (though not very usefull as you can simply obtain your position though the Orbiter SDK, but still fun).
The only thing I additionally need is a mesh/dll (with textures) for the GPS satellites itself, which I could try to make, but yours will probably look better.
The DLL for the GPS receiver is what I would like to create myself, so if you remove GPS sats from the constellation, you will notice the effect on the calculated position by the receiver DLL. Using Orbiter, you can experiment with changing the constellation in real time :)

mcduck

I would like to see something like the MeteoSat.. or any meteorological satellites.

Thank you for your appreciation of my BSS 702 :speakcool:

I've read that LM will build a 6th generation of GPS sats: The GPS 3. I'll will be the meshes of the GPS 2RM, 2F (maybe) and 3... I hope you liked...

And... I've started the development of an Europa Explorer... See the Forum :P

NOTE: I think this add-on can't be called "Commercial Satellites" but "Payloads for Orbiter" :P
