Luna is actualy just the sandbox I use. The final location is still undetermined.
My goal is to build this base from standard parts only and still get my super mega awesome XR factory :speakcool:

The cross thingy makes it look like a Nazi vessel... I wonder if it's a coincidence that Iron Sky is in development.

Actually the cross is taken from present-day German Airforce markings. The older WWII markings were straight angles, not flared.

Actually, the swastika is completely diffrent. the US, british and japanese air forces still have the same markings they had back then. The cross isn't "evil" in any way.

This cross is much much older than the nazi ideas and has been around since the dark ages. The nazis tried to establish a PR profile that matches those "noble german times", and thus they used a lot of old signs.
The swastika itself is an age old sign used by humans all over the world for aeons. After WWI it was a popular symbol that expressed the dislike of the newly founded "Weimarer Republik" (Germanys name back then). Before that it was known throughout all of the german countrys as a sign of good luck and can be found on old european wine bottles a lot.
I hope this helped to detach your mind from the nazis a little.

Woah! Nice base. And the black skin is it a form of heat resistan RAM (Radar Absorbent...)?
