I visited Titan today

I made a transfer to Saturn and I passed through the rings (I would have died) and circularized orbit. Then I started a transfer to reach Titan and entered orbit around it.

I do not like how Titan Looks in Orbiter. It looks kind of fake. But I can say I enjoyed the trip to Titan a lot. Saturn looks beautiful.

I actually did the same thing a while ago. Over a year according to the date of the pic. It was a real fun trip and I did it almost the exact same way aas you did. Landing on Titan was interesting given the low gravity and thick atmosphere. I basically hovered the whole way down without using the engines.

I've made that trip a year ago and it is worth it just for the view. I've never landed on Saturn. The idea of landing on a gas giant bothers me.

Nice flight. i have to visit titan some day but i have to go to mars before :lol:

are you using stock orbiter planets ? perhaps outher planets addon from Rolf could be a lot better.

also i remember that if someone is using some hearth atmosphere mod, it changes the haze colour of venus, titan, mars, and other planets.

I was once inserting a UMMU guy into my scenario and accidentally put him on the surface of Jupiter... Nothing particularly interesting or exciting hapenned...

Did they survive it? Did they have enough oxygen?

My hardest thing I have made with an UMMU was attaching it to Energia, and releasing it at 50km (he was only a few degrees away from burning up).

yes they survived I ejected them from the delta glider IV so they had 24hours of oxygen each and I have all so made 2 ummus land whit in 5 meters of each other after reentering them from about 120km above earth
