FlightSim X Space Shuttle Pads?

Hey! Who else has noticed this. Flight Sim X Doesn't have pads 39 A/B. It has the VAB. Is there any downloads that will Add the pads???

Are you sure there are no pads? I see pads in mine. You may need to increase the Scenery Complexity option so you will see more buildings. If you have this set low the pads may not be displayed.

Maybe they're a part of Acceleration, but one of the missions is flying air patrol in F/A-18s and you have to fly in formation behind a Cessna and escort him out of a shuttle launch zone. It's really tough to keep from overshooting the Cessna.

Good point, I have Acceleration too and I first saw the pads doing that mission as well.

I imagine this involves a great amount of banking back and forth to negate forward airspeed...?

It's actually not so bad. You have to fly like a bat out of hell to get there, but as soon as he's a spec on the horizon, you kill the jets, throw up the speed brakes, wait a bit, drop the flaps and gear to get you down to just a hair over stall, pull in the gear and rock your wings to tell him to get the hell out of the launch zone :rofl:

I managed to finish that mission. I was pointing up at about 70 degrees to keep in the air though.:rofl:
