Mars to Earth with IMFD

Is there a good tutorial on how to fly from Mars to Earth with the IMFD?

If you just arrived there from Earth, would'nt you have the right orbit to just go back?

I tried the same approach you use to fly from a landed on earth position on mars but it did'nt work

Yes. I made one flight from Earth to Mars.

No. When you left Earth your transfer Orbit to Mars had a different period from Earth's Orbit. If you sailed on past, Earth wouldn't be in the same place when you return.

It is possible to slingshot past Mars and Transfer back to Earth, but it depends if there is a window for your energy. And it depends on how long you are willing to wait (could be years).

If you're just chilling in Mars Orbit, you can always transfer back to Earth as easily as you transferred to Mars (from Earth). Just the energy (fuel required) varies depending upon where the two planets are in their orbits.
