I think the problem is that "Minutes / 60" is evaluated as an integer - and rounded down to zero - because both "Minutes" and "60" are integers and this part is calculated before the first calculation that requires converting the number to a float (the subtraction).
The solution would be to use...
(No, it's not named after the weapon, silly!)
Some of you may remember my first attempt at an addon vessel two years ago. First of all, thank you to everybody who supported me back then! Now, what does that have to to with today?
Let's just say that I decided to revive the Dwarven Spacefarers'...
Well, I'm a little late here, so much of what I wanted to say has already been said...
I cannot say that Neil Armstrong personally inspired me, but that is mainly because the moon landings were years before I was born. I do however respect him for inspiring those who witnessed him setting foot...
I didn't get around to working on the addon much lately, especially programming, but I haven't given it up.
Firstly I've slightly redesigned the cockpit:
It now has a red marble texture (because dwarves like things made of stone)
The attitude indicators are now round needle gauges to look more...
Well, I could make some of the decorations engraved and jewel-encrusted gold plates or golden reliefs. The hands looking like actual hands may be a bit too silly to do everywhere, even for this, but I'll keep this in mind for a side panel. Regarding the runic script, I'll make the "easily...
Okay, I've managed to make the first parts of the cockpit with the help of Martin's tutorial on his blog: To make it look dwarfy I made it out of wood, metal and a bit of stone. It's still missing most of the instruments some other things: I plan to have some engravings (as suggested on the DF...
I'm developing the 2-D panel of my first add-on using the new mesh-based method. This tutorial is very helpful, especially since looking at the DeltaGlider examples by myself was a bit confusing at first.
I made some modifications, but aside from what Bibi Uncle found in part 2 I didn't notice...
Yes, it's a model made from scratch. The problem is clearly with the rotations in object mode as things look correct if you rotate meshes in edit mode or apply the transformations before exporting.
I've attached a zip file containing a simple test model that shows the problem: the green cube...
Thanks for your useful Blender add-on, Vlad. I've used it for my own Orbiter add-on and think I found another bug that may be related to the mirroring one in some way:
When you rotate objects in Blender's object mode, the shading will be wrong in Orbiter. As a test I set the rotation to zero and...
So, the 3D-modeling, physical properties and thruster placement are done, so you can finally fly the "Skyboat". Also I've added a new surface base at Silverdale, Washington, which is where the creator of Dwarf Fortress lives, as far as I could tell...
I've uploaded some more screen shots to my...
