You get the full game now but only two aircraft, But new planes cost about $8 tho I got given a couple yesterday in a gift scheme.. Has career mode, a training campaign, quick missions, scenarios and multiplayer (very competitive!) would have played Il2 online but didn't have fast enough...

there is another thing that might help. In the microtex readme it instructs you to change one of the parameters in the earth.cfg file. have aread through that as the change in the cfg number is large and may make all the difference.

have you tried cloudmicrotex? best I've found but I am a noob so I may be wrong..

I played Il2 every day for a year or so (Single player only) Now I'm hooked on Rise of flight, A first word war combat sim. good community, stunning graphics and the best fm I've ever seen, and its free to play!

I'm managing to align planes on ascent now (within 5 degrees) Pretty pleased with myself over that! I found out my biggest problem with docking..I had no keys set forward forward/reverse thrusters, I assumed that would be on joystick forward/backward.. Kinda difficult to dock without those...

Hi all. I only found out about orbiter from the Rise of Flight forum last week. I love it! Have to admit though that I have had a nightmare with docking.. I've read about 4 tutorials (several times) but still couldn't make it happen. I went through 4 attempts.. starting from scratch each time...

Thanks for this tutorial.. I found it well written and easy to understand..I'm now performing alignments and orbit syncs like an old hand..My only problem now is docking. BUT.. Think I have finally got that part licked! I'm now 800 meters away with 0 relative velocity. Looking good.. Guess thats...
