I think I figured out the new block rotation thing. The rotation resets if you exit placement mode unless you select the block a second time. I just wonder if this is an intended feature? I don't really like it.

Even in that case, isn't it still a good idea to say NO to it now before it's too late? :P (But perhaps this is a topic best suited for somewhere else.)

They also seem to have changed block placement so that every time you switch block types, the rotation returns to the default, which is a pain.
