I cannot re-enter correctly. I follow all the steps, am on opposite side of the planet, but AS SOON as I hit the atmosphere, my orbit vanishes and I just fall. I align planes, make sure I pass over the base, wait til i'm on the other side of the planet, and burn retrograde to lower my orbit...

I've tried every tutorial I can think of, all the reentry MFDs, and still this thing eludes me. I cannot re-enter the XR2 down to a base. I can do it with non heat sensitive spacecraft, just the Ravenstar gets far too hot. How is it possible? Burning on the other side of the earth doesn't work...
