Mission 16 sucessfully completed. A few minor hiccups involving an RMS jammed outside of the bay doors (scenario edited to fix) and a drag chute failing to deploy (I stopped in time, somehow...)
Screenshots coming, if I have time to look over the recording I made.

I also have an ancient Microsoft Sidewinder 1. It has 2 buttons and 2 axis, but it...
I'll fly an XR5 for you :)
I'm also a dab hand with a URMS if you need that :P
I reccomend that when people complete flights, they record a playback. Since the XR series payback very well, it could add up to a very nice collection.
EDIT: I'm also pretty good at deorbiting and landing...
Little tip for anyone finding transx sluggish. I don't know why, but if you set x10 time acceleration it becomes very responsive again. I don't know why, just a little tip I picked up from flytandem's videos.

I can't claim to know much about laptop graphics cards other than they suck, but I do know a fair bit about processors. What is the purpose of the machine? Is it a desktop replacement or a machine for use on the go?

Yes yes a million times yes. I'll happily test this, i have no programming ability to speak of, but i.ve been looking forward to this for so long I want to help in any way I can. Good luck!
Is your keyboard or mouse usb? That particular error seems to be usb related, I get it when I plug in a faulty flash drive. Your mention of specific key combos leads me to think input device behaving badly.
Do one step of a flight from ksc to iss each long lesson. Spend 1 hour teaching how it works and let them try for one hour. Shorter lessons let them try their own maneuvers and help them, explaining the physics as you do.
Just some ideas :)
