Yes it is working now, thank you PhantomCruiser and Xyon. I do want to follow the forum's guidelines . I'm sorry if I was being sensitive. I just came from another forum that had become fairly abusive and mean spirited. So I was feeling kind of raw anyway and then I felt that I was being...
My apologies. My download got corrupted and it wasn't even a full download. I was missing about a gig.
I was linked to "How to ask for help". I did post my specs and a detailed description. However I did forget the log but that's something I had forgotten about. I've been away...
Hey folks. I've been away from Orbiter for several years. I saw the new 2016 release and wanted to come back. However Orbiter is crashing when I select launch. I've not installed anything other than Orbiter 2016 and set my video configuration in the video tab. I've tried starting several...
I've been away from Orbiter for several years. I was really looking forward to this space plane but suspect it never released. I'm sorry to bring up an old thread but I've been away for ages and would like to know if anyone has info on this project. Thanks.
I tried running in windowed mode and that allowed me to press F4 without it freezing. Why when I run full screen would it freeze up on me when I press F4? What would cause this behavior?
Thanks for the help. At least windowed mode still uses most of the screen save for the little bar at the...
Well I'm still having the same problem even in Orbiter 2010. And I don't have Dan Steph sound added yet. And once again it works right when I select 16bit in the video options. Obviously I don't want to run in 16bit. Yet when I select 32bit all is well until I press F4. It freezes. I then...
Hey folks. I finally got around to installing Orbiter again after getting a new pc earlier this year. (Core i5, 4 gig ram, GTX 270, Windows 7 64bit)
For some reason it appears as though when I select 32bit color in the video options, while in game when I hit F4 to bring up the program...
Thanks Dan for the great addon and all your hard work. I've also always enjoyed your comprehensive scenarios to teach us what's there and how to work it.
Try starting with a DGIV repaint first as it comes with templates and basic instructions. I used GIMP as well with my DGIV and Prelude base repaints. Just open them up in GIMP and try to get familiar with the layers of the templates and the tools that GIMP provides. You don't need necessarily...
I just recently found this free and easy program called fences. Basically you can create fences for your desktop icons and name them. There are a few more features as well. There is another great feature that I think is worth getting the program just for it. You can double click the desktop...
Maybe perhaps a man in black as well. That way we can have a Gman appear every time there is a sighting or landing of an unidentified flying object:).
Great project thank you Dan!:speakcool:
Hello Dig Gil. I don't have an answer to your question but I just wanted to point you to Spike Speigel's new DGIV High Resolution templates.
Spike Spiegel's High-Res DGIV Repaint Template
Its a really nice template with great detail.
Its the DGIV "Performance_test_best" scenario.
I just tried a Dyna Soar scenario and the default dragonfly scenario and every time I quickly tap the zoom button in close succession I get a crash. Sometimes even a slow tap of the zoom button crashes it but I don't necessarily get an error...
Can someone tell me what this error message is that I'm getting. I seem to get it when I try to zoom in very quickly on something in Orbiter. Thanks for any help. Here's my log:
