15 April 2014 Total Lunar Eclipse

Awoke at 3 AM this morning to the sound of heavy rain, as was expected, and promptly went back to sleep. September 2015, here I come. :thumbup:

I was fighting clouds, as expected, but I got some decent shots.

Whenever I see a lunar eclipse, I find it easy to pretend I'm seeing Mars up close.

Went out past the edge of the city with the girlfriend, and she took these photos. Not as high quality as some of the others, but she's still proud of them.

Not bad for a low-end camera and an improvised tripod.
