It's very possible, and one of the cool things about Orbiter. You can send up a space station, for instance, and then set up multiple launches to add modules, equipment and additional crew to it.

im actually looking for more specific answers...

...once i put one up in a stable orbit, then what? how to i get to pilot another ship on earth? and do i tune in to the freq of a generic DG-01? and whats the maximum # i could put up?

You can create additional ships with the Scenario editor, or by manually editing the scenario files. A vessel's XPDR and docking frequencies can be found with the Object Info tool, or by scanning with the COM/NAV instrument.

All these things are outlined in Orbiter's manual, in the Doc folder. Sections 14 and 20 contain what you're looking for.

After you have put the first ship in a stable orbit, just use the scenario editor to prep an other one on the runaway at KSC. I suggest you launch on a 90 degrees angle (straight east) on the first one so that it's easy to coordinate launch windows.

Once the second ship is launched, sync orbit, and use each ship's comm's menu (the comm and nav MFD) to put the freq of your choice (by manually changing the frequencey TRANSMITTER, instead of the receiver). You can then fix the first ship transmitter to any freq you like and fix the second ship receiver to that freq, and dock.

You can use the Print Screen key, and then paste into MS Paint and save (as a PNG preferrably, as Paint tends to make huge artefacts when saving as JPEG. :facepalm

There's also [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3279"]ScreenCapture[/ame], which just uses Alt+F12 to automatically save a JPEG to a (screenshots) folder in the Orbiter directory. I never leave Earth without it. :thumbup:
