Problem 2D Hud Won't go down?

Hi! I remember in 2006, that when you press the down key, in shuttle-A, and a few other ships, there was a secondary panel... But in 2010, there isn't a panel for the XR series, and the shuttle-A (even the doc for both say there is one...)

What is happening?!!?!

I suspect that, if you study the documentation properly, you'll see the command is actually the arrow key plus CTRL.
