Congratulations David! My best wishes for a quick and painless recovery.

Our very own David Courtney aka "blixel" had a double lung transplant just a few days ago.

For those that don't know, David has cystic fibrosis.

3 days ago David got the call to rush to the hospital as a suitable donor had been found. This was actually the third time he received such a call, but the other two times didn't work out.

Anyway, this time was the real deal and the surgery went very well. He is already out of the ICU and now recovering.

Use this thread to drop in a word for David.
