I'm currently filling in my nonresident tax form for the USA, and as I'm a non-US person they've helpfully included a form entitled:
"Form B: List of countries not considered to be part of the U.S"

I'm happy to learn that Denmark isn't part of the USA. So if anyone else is worried that they are/aren't part of it all then ask away. Form B will clear it all up.

Interestingly I noticed that Iraq and Iran aren't included on the list. Not sure if that's because they ARE part of the US (and I hadn't noticed) or because of some weird tax thing. Trying to think of a reason makes me look like this thoguh:

If Iran and Iraq would be part of the USA, this would actually explain a lot... it's all a show!

But is Cuba also on the list? if yes, then it's possibly that all countries with an US embargo are not considered tax worthy.

LOL! I wonder if Denmark has a similar form. I'd like to know if Faroe islands and Greenland would be on such a list. ;)

btw. how about Pakistan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia? Are they listed as non-US?

Cuba isn't on the form (probably as the US doesn't have any tax treaties with them).
Pakistan and Saudi are too, can't see Kuwait. Australia is also on the form ;)
