Hello,

I have been trying to do a kind of moon tourism type thing at one of the Apollo landing sites, specifically Hadley (I like the mountains...). I could use some help editing a scenario to put this scenery on the moon so that these mountains show up like they do in the AMSO scenario.

Thanks.

The "landscape" is actually defined as a vessel in the scenery; all you have to do is copy and paste the specific landing site out of a AMSO scenery into your own scenery.
You could also change the cfg. file to represent the AMSOmoon instead of the standard moon.

When I change it to represent the AMSO moon, I get the surface tiles, but none of the three dimensional landscape.

The three dimensional landscape is a vessel, not a base. The base is just the location on the sphere. I can't remember exactly how I did it (it was a while ago) but I think for the most part I copied the "landing site" or whatever it was called from the "vessels" section out of one of the AMSO scenarios into the one I was using for my present day flight. I was using the DG4 with UCGO and built a new base on it. In fact, it was the Apollo 15 Hadley scenery that I used. I tried also copying the "leftover" stuff from an Apollo landing (experiment packages, flag, lunar rover) and it all worked fine except for the LM descent stage - it kept appearing as a giant spiky looking block. Never did figure out why.
